This is one of the stones I purchased on my recent trip to Indonesia. I was fortunate to visit Sukabumi where we met a gentleman that lives near one of the larger volcanoes in the area. Volcanic areas are typically where you will find the worlds most amazing gemstones. This gemstone is no exception.

This pendant features an amazing amethyst that seems to glow in the light. The polish is unlike any other I have seen on an amethyst cabochon. The metal behind the stone has been cut out to allow for maximum light to flow through in all directions.

The silver has been lightly textured with a random square pattern.

The pendant measures 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" long and comes on an 18" sterling silver snake chain.
